Rugs
Some of the more modern ones are more straight forward to clean, however mid Eastern and Oriental types can be hypersensitive and need much more care when cleaned. Some rugs can be taken of site and cleaned in our workshop.

Upholstery
We offer a wet or dry cleaning system depending on the fabric.

Leather Upholstery
More upholstery today uses leather as a covering fabric. There is a misbelieve leather does not need to be maintained. It does. Contact the York number for advice.

Curtain Cleaning
This is undertaken on site and cleaned where they hang. This avoids the inconvenience of taking down and rehanging if they were taken to a dry cleaner. Shrinkage is also avoided if cleaned in situ plus maintaining security at your windows.

Spot & Stain Removal
Depending on the spillage will determine the best approach to removal. Time is of essence, but blot do not rub. Contact the York number as soon as possible.

Protective Treatments
Soil and stain resistance can be improved to certain fabrics. Some fabrics do not require treatment. Ring for advice and costs involved.

Anti –Static Treatments
Better insulation and heating in today’s properties can increase the chances of static electricity. Treatments can be applied in situ but for any treatment to adhere fully to a fibre it should be clean.

Amtico and Karndean Cleaning and Dressing
Maintenance of these floor coverings keeps them protected, enhances their slip resistance and aesthetic appeal.

Hard Floor Cleaning
Quarry tiles, marble, ceramic, Terrazzo, vinyl can all be cleaned to extend their life and maintain their appearance. Dressings can also be applied where appropriate.

Deodorizing
This may be necessary after pet, mildew, water damage and spillage of noxious fluids. Additional work of deep cleaning the fabric and removal of underlay may also be required. Ring the York number for advice.
